فَأَكَلَا مِنْهَا فَبَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْءَاتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَرَقِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚ وَعَصَىٰ ءَادَمُ رَبَّهُۥ فَغَوَىٰ
Transliteration:
Fa-akalā minhā fa-badat lahumā saw’ātuhumā, wa ṭafiqā yakhṣifāni ʿalayhimā min waraqi al-jannah. Wa ʿaṣā Ādamu rabbahu faghawā.
Translation:
So they ate from it, whereupon their nakedness became visible to them, and they began to cover themselves with the leaves of paradise. Thus Adam disobeyed his Lord, and went astray.
